Day 83: School's Out

Adapted from Alice Cooper's famous song. Bolded lyrics are my adaptations.

Well we got no choice
All the girls and boys
Makin all that noise
finally got sent home with their toys
Well we can't salute ya
Can't find a flag
had to put 'em all away
so the summer school kids won't take'em awayThat's a drag

School's out for summer
School's out forever
Poster's torn to pieces
Chairs broken on the floor
Don't wanna come back anymore
No more pencils
No more books
No more students's dirty looks

Well we got no class
And we got no principals
And we got no kids trying to get grades fixed
We are already buying margarita mix

School's out for summer
School's out forever
Poster's torn to pieces
Chairs broken on the floor
Don't wanna come back anymore

No more pencils
No more books
No more students's dirty looks

Out for summer
Out till fall
We might not go back at all
if TRS says we've earned it all

School's out forever
School's out for summer
School's out with fever
School's out completely

Today is the last day of student attendance, and it couldn't come fast enough this year. I had students even with final grades on the line just trying my patience. UGH! !

TRUST ME, I was singing this all day (in my head, but STILL)!!
